The windows on my Burb has tinted glass but would like to go darker. How dark can you go and be leagal? I'm not about to do it myself but take the Burb to a professional. Should the driver and pasenger side also be tinted the same?

I have my rear windows real dark.My drivers and front passenger are a little darker than leagle in Pa.Like 5% darker,but I have not been bothered by the police.It varies by state.

Here are state by state laws...http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Law_Chart/S...aw%20Chart.htm according to this in KY you can go pretty dark.35% on the drivers windows.That means it can be dark enough that only 35% of the light needs to make it threw the window,in Pa it is 70%.

you can go as dark as you want in all the windows except for the front windows. I never like the look though of having black windows in back, and lightly gray windows in front. I usually tell the tint place "darkest legal in front, and one shade darker in back." this looks best IMHO

My factory 98 tahoe tint is real dark in the rear and lighter on the front doors. It looks fine in my opinion. Probably going to go the same route on the 70 burb.

Yes, thanks guys, that is what I want. Like Long Roofs 98 Tahoe. Real dark on the rear and not as dark up front. What ever is leagle. Also thanks Smokekiki for the State by State laws.

Anything goes until you get to the drivers/passenger(like PU)and windshield.The darker the other windows,the darker these will appear.
