1988 454 TBI Dually engine cutting out during deceleration
I have a 1988 Crew Cab Dually 454 TBI 4-speed Manual 2wd Truck. I am having a problem with the trucking cuttig out when slowing to a stop. I was towing an 86 Suburban down from the mountains a week ago and it scared the $hit out of me. The truck seems to want to cut out everytime I slow down nearing a stop, sometimes even cuts out while at a 20-25mph cruising speed. No check engine lights, no trouble codes, any ideas on where to start trouble shooting? Idle Control Solenoid maybe??? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, John |

Hmm, my first thought was VSS issues. But with it always cutting out, I am not sure. Esspecially with no SES codes...
