speedometer gear at trans
My speedo is currently off about 15 mph (reading too fast), I have a turbo 350 and the gear at the trans is 20 teeth. Do they make a gear with more teeth or will I have to change out the gear at the back of the trans?

You'll probably end up having to replace both the driving gear on the tail shaft and the driven gear that the cable attaches to. You will need to figure out what gears you have in there right now, and how far it is off as a percentage. What speed are you going when it is off by 15 mph? You can also buy little gear ratio boxes that are installed between the transmission and the speedometer cable. These are a whole lot easier to install, but a bit more expensive. You might be able to find one that is close to what yo need in a wrecking yard.
