Best seat covers
Who makes the best seat upholstery for a 72 bench seat? I am tired of vinyl and I would like to go back to factory look.i'm thinking about houndstooth type. has anyone done this and how hard was it to do? The foam seems to be in good shape. i hope since there is only one little tear in mine now.

if you don't care about factory correct just go to a local auto upolstory shop they do what ever you want. last bench seat i had done was about $200 installed

absolutly get the hounds tooth cover, a few board members sell the good stuff. i got mine from gmcpaul.. awsome stuff, easy to put on. but i think id have a shop do mine if i do it again. new foam,springs ect, but it still turned out great, i love it! ill post a pict later for you.

I upholstered my seat last month with a houndstooth cover I got from Kenny's ($200). If you have hog rings and pliers and PATIENCE it isn't really that bad.

I just did my buckets in houndstooth... it was much more of a PITA than I anticipated, but well worth the effort IMO. New foam$ made a big difference on the buckets. Might not be needed as much with the bench.
