V6 or not V6?

Are there any newer v-6's that fit in a 70 GMC "fairly" easy?

4.3 V6 from the late 80's RWD(Chevy truck, Astro Van, F body...)should go in with no problem but you will probably have to fart around with the motor mounts a little as they will be too far forward(you will need an offset mount). V6 Mounts from a pre-87 C10 should go in with little to no modifications except drilling a couple holes. Should bolt right up to your trans.

V6 in a heavy 70's ride? if you're looking for gas mileage, there are better ways...
