Mike,

I'm in a similar situation with my 89. Several of the body to frame mounts are rotted out on the body side. The frame is not in bad shape..it has rust..but no rust through.

As far as I can tell..nobody makes any replacement panels for the supports. So I am looking for another burb tub.

Sean

http://www.lmctruck.com/ has panels, i have their catalog here too, from the 2005 Spring catalog it is page 27 from the burb catalog.
i think JC Whitney has them too and i am sure plenty of other cuppliers have them too but i am not sure of the quality of them

Screwball,

I have the catalog too, I know they make "body panels" for the exterior..but what they don't make are basically what I would call "cab" mounts. I think that is what Mike is talking about...and I know that's what I would need to save the burb body on mine.

When I did mine this past March, I needed two brackets that mount on the rear of the frame. Nobody makes them, not even GM, so I fabbed my own.

It sounds to me like you're looking for the metal that's attached to the body though, which apparently nobody sells either. A couple of mine were rusty, and I need to fab some up eventually.

I suppose, at this point, swapping a new tub onto mine wouldn't be a bad idea....
