need some help guys

I am getting a 85 suburban for free. the only thing with it is there are 3 body mounts that have rust issues. can i get panels to replace these? i dont mind the welding just dont know where to get them

any thoughts?

Yes, these just weld right over the OE body mounts. There are a lot of places you can get these. You can also find these sometimes on e-Bay. Just make sure you treat the rusted out ones before you cover them. You can also get the ones that replace the OE mounts but you have to completly cut out the old ones. I like putting POR-15 over all rust before installing. This stuff goes right over rust. It is alsome. But should not be exposed to the sun which is not problem under the truck. Good luck.

Surely You Know Someone That Has An Old Wrecked Fram Laying Around Somewhere That You Could Get These Mounts You Need And Weld Or Bolt On With Grade 8 Bolts?? Sorry But I Just Cant See Paying Good Money For Something That Is Worthless To Someone Else Isnt This Kinda Thing What Haveing Friend And Buddies Is All About Helping Each Other?

Sorry If I Cam Off A Little Rude Im Just Saying I Have A Frame Available For Those Kinda Parts Just As Soon As I Get The New Frame Completed And The Old Fram Is Junk As Far As Im Conserned Unless I Use It For A Four Door Short Bed Ten Years From Now When I Can Afford That Mod. Other Than That I Have Read Quit A Few Diffrent Threads About Doing Fram Coutting And More Than Likly Someone Close To You Would Let You Come Over And Cutt These Of There Junk Frams Before The Scrapmetal Man Comes To Haul Them Off.
