That sounds like a nice chassis to upgrade a 3/4 ton truck to 1 ton, if I only had the space BTW I'm about 1hr. South of Harrisburg, I'm currently selling my 3/4 ton but if it don't sell, I be contacting you

How bad is the cab itself? I need a junker donor cab that I can have some fun cutting up. I need the roof, backwall and the floor to be solid(fromt he backwall to the middle of the floor, right behind the trannyhump... Got any pics you can show of it? I will be headed out that way in a week or two so I could pick up... Also, could use the windowframes from the doors.

Before you scrap it I would pull the rear hub and drum assemblies. If they are good you will be able to sell them. My 71 C30 was just stranded in Indiana because I couldn't find a drum nearby.

Front end would be good if someone nearby was changing out to disk brakes on a 70 or older. I haven't looked at replacement rotors cost so I don't know if they are worth pulling.

Pics

Sorry I couldnt get to this before the weekend. The pictures of the frame attempt to show the rust. The one real bad spot is where the leaf spring shackle bolts up. There is about a two inch hole rusted right in the middle. unfortunately it is in shadow. I dont know if I should just cut the thing up or if it is still worth something to somebody

more pics

The truck had a dump bed, so the tranny has the aux PTO I dont know if this was factory or not. That is what is welded onto the back of the frame. We had to cut it to get the dump frame off

If anyone needs more info or specific pics just email or call me, and Ill try to get them together. If no one wants the frame, by next week ill probably cut it up, and take it in for scrap.
