Bolting a Blazer Tank to the bottom of the frame.........Good or Bad Idea??
I wasn't happy with the straps supplied with the tank so I bolted it to the bottom of the frame. It has a extra piece of tin on the flange so it is reinforced there.
Good or Bad Idea??

I wouldn't do it. That's a lot of stress on those flanges. I would think that you will get cracks around those flanges from them having to hold the weight of the gas, and bumps are going to be hard on the tank as well. Use the straps.
