Hey!! I was going to post that!! he had it on ebay a couple of weeks ago but with a starting bid of $4000 it didn't sell, now with a lower starting bid he might have a bite, I wonder if that truck was originally a 50th?? he says that it has been painted once close to the original color, Wouldn't it be cool?? a rare 9 ft step 50th? not many of those!!

Exactly what I thought Paul. The only thing is, the interior isn't right for a 50th, but who's to say that hasn't been changed either? I think you could get the anniversary gold as a solid color, without the anniversary package...but I could be wrong. I'd like to see the glovebox option sheet.

Nice truck! Curious about the chrome trim on the cab, never seen that on a stepside truck (except on a members 67 or 68 that he customized chrome on). I sure hope the guy sends you a glove box decal pic, It would be interesting to know.

On a side note, I'm a bit depressed that he can't get a bid of even $2500 for his. Makes me wonder why I have spent $3500 on mine, and still will need paint

I was wondering the same thing too as soon as I saw it. Makes me wonder if it really was a stepside or if it was possibly a longbed fleetside 50th?? The VIN would tell for sure..... Nice truck anyways.....

I saw that a couple of days ago and thought it was a real bargain! My '68 restoration guide states that the CST side molding was available on these trucks. I have never seen a CST stepside so I could not say for sure. I would guess that would be a rare option package if nobody on here has one.
