k20 vs. k30

What are the main differences between a 3/4 and a 1ton truck for the 73-87 era? If memory serves the 1 ton have stronger/stiffer springs, and the dana 60 front axle. Are there any other differences that I am not aware of, frames, brakes, steering, tires, etc? (other than a 1 ton being optioned with a drw setup that is).

Thanks

I think there's more to it than that? I believe the upper control arms are larger along with the brake calipers. I'm sure this can be added too.

K trucks dont have upper control arms.
yes, each axle has it own brakes, but that is to be expected. all rear brake options on a 14FF are available on both 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, depending on GVWR.
