truck won't start (sometimes)
Hi all, This is my first time posting so please bear with me. I have a 85 K% with a 350. Here in the past two weeks it has decided to start only when it wants to. It will start fine in the morning when the truck is cold. After the truck warms up and I try to start it does not want to start. It will not turn over. There is a small ground wire that goes from the alt bracket to the radiator support that gets very hot when it will not start. If I let it sit for a while it will start. It does not always do this though. I have replaced the starter, battery and the alternator. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance

Your main ground cable is bad, about five bucks at auto zone, replace it and I promise you'll be good to go.Just a shame you already replaced all that other stuff.
Those ground cables can look ok and be rotten inside, know from experience. Good Luck Tom
