Well like the title says, I am a new here from ky. I just recently bought this truck. I traded a guy a 91 honda prelude for it.

The truck is a 78 1/2 ton c10 cheyanne. its got a 350 in it that is not origional to the truck. origionaly it had a 5.7 disel in it. its got hd suspension, front discs and front sway bar from the factory.

ive got quite a few plans for it, but right now, replacing the carb is number one on the list. its got a stock quatrajet and leaks down when it sits for a few hours. since i have never messed with carbs, im gonna just get a refurbished one from advance autoparts that has a 1 year warrenty.

here is a few pics:

enjoy and comments welcome...

Man, after seeing the interior pic, I was almost shocked seeing the exterior pic! That is one mean looking stepside -- You definitely got the good end of that trade!

Hi ,

welcome on board !

I had a 1979 C-10 with the 350 Olds Diesel engine , which was also refitted as a gasser , the replacement engine being an Oldsmobile engine , it was a direct fit to the original tranny , which only allows engines with the B.O.P. ( Buick , Oldsmobile , Pontiac and Cadillac ) pattern

you tell us you have a 350ci engine in your truck , but from which brand ?

Greetzzzzz

welcome and nice fixer the engine appears to be chevy from what i could tell from the pic and tranny does indeed look like a 350 (corner cut off)
