Fan sizes

I just got a used clutch/fan setup for my truck from a vender. When I went to check the fit I found that the fan is a bit over 19" in diameter as opposed to my fan that is maybe 18". I have seen some other posts all saying 18" fans, is the 19" fan from any of the 67-72 variety?

Hi Richard. My truck came with a 19" 7-blade fan with a clutch. I purchased a fan shroud and the 7-blade fan was too large for the hole in the shroud. I have been asking for a 18" 7-blade fan with a clutch so I can use the shroud. I guess if you don'y use a shroud then the 19" would be better. Also yesterday I looked at a '73 and the fan blade looked larger but that could have been lack of water anda very hot day
