lowering/softening 3/4 ton '89

Howdy Folks: I don't need the load capacity of 6700 GVW,
or the nose bleed I get at the stock (high) altitude.

Looks like 2" lower front springs and the rear spring shackle/hanger kit
will provide the drop I want, but all the vendors I checked don't
list these parts for C2500. Will these C1500 parts fit C2500? Vendor recommendations?

Second question, can I soften the rear leafs by removing the
shortest/thickest/lowest leaf?

Thx for your help. This is my first post here.

This is a link to Belltech's website:

http://www.belltechcorp.com/agps-final/btag012705.htm

They offer kits for 88-98 3/4 ton. Hopefully it will help you out some. They make a good product but they're expensive, too. I don't know much about leaf spring suspensions (I have coils) but I've heard of guys removing leafs to drop the truck. I've also heard of guys straightening leaves, but that seems like a lot of work. Your best best would probably be a C-notch and a flip kit and springs for the front. I don't think 1500 and 2500 are interchangeable. It may be the same type of spring but the rates are different. Some of the other guys here know more, but hopefully this will help you some.
