1966 GMC Panel Value Question...

Hi, I have this 66 GMC Panel Truck Project I won't be able to finnish. Could someone give me some advice how much something like that would be worth?

I know what I invested & what it's worth to me, but it would be very helpfull if I had a idea how much it would be fair to sell it for.

It has a 500 cui Cadillac engine & TH400 auto transmission in it. Front disc brakes, power steering & crossmember out of a 1975 Chevrolet 1 ton truck. A 1990 Ford rear end and much more. But it does need a lot of body work & finnishing.

There are more photos & description at:

It's a Panel with windows added. Does the VIN start with "2503"?

That's a 1-ton, not a whole lot of those around.

Well, I rather would keep her, but I don't see a way of finnishing her soon. So I would like to find out how much she's worth in the shape she's in, so I can make a decission if I should sell her or not.

Well if you cant finnish her "soon" then hold on to her I am guessing that she is not costing you anything to just sit there. I say keep her and do what little you can, and before you know it you will be further along than you are right now.

I'd try to hold onto it too, you're not going to get much for it the way it is. Most people are leary of spending a lot of money on someone else's project. I'm thinking you would get $1-2000 for it but I could be wrong.

Thank you for the replies!

I'm worried that I run out of storage & end up selling her in a hurry. The junkyard will give me always 500 bucks, but I don't want her to get trashed!
So I rather put her up for sale now & only if I don't get good offers I keep her.
Better knowing she's in good hands & $2000 in my pocket, then risking the chrusher...

Let's see what happens... & thanks again!
