1967 C40 Brake Parts?
Does anyone know where I can find 1967 C40 brake parts (new or used)? I need the power booster, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Or does anyone know of a dual bowl master cylinder conversion kit for a C40? email papony@velocity.net

Pretty rare there. Can you get a look at the GM parts book and get a part#?Maybe someone here can help you with that.zit may be the same # as an other more common application.

Raybestos still has 'em, here's the link to the search page. Just enter 1967, Chevrolet Truck, 40, 400, 4000 series.

There are also a couple of different brake systems for those truck. I could not get any parts from Raybestos for my truck. My '67 C-50 has the Midland Brake set-up which has the firewall mounted vac booster with single bowl, single line master cylinder. I had to buy a new (no rebuilt available) Bendix master cylinder for mine, and they are pricey!! My truck also has dual wheel cylinders on each wheel. If you need everything, you could easily tie up $1000 - $1200 in parts alone. I was lucky to get away with just replacing the $350 master cylinder.
