Vacuum hoses - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Anybody have a diagram of the vacuum hoses for a 72? I am trying to get the "blend door" to close so I don't have a heater blowing while I am going down the road. None of my controls seem to do anything, except the blower motor switch. I know there are two hoses going in the cab. I assume one goes to the carb (ported or manifold vacuum?) and the other goes to the diaphragm. Anyone else done this?

Exactly!!! The only thing I see is I don't have a "vacuum reservoir" (I don't think). And I don't think I have a water valve. I have a cable that goes out there I assume to a valve. I need to locate the inside door. I didn't know there was one.

Yep that's it. Is there any way you could post a close up of Figures 43 and 44? I hate to trouble you, but I can't blow them up much without making them blurry. Anyway, thanks again that is exactly what I needed to see. I can't believe others haven't needed to see this.
