Question Drums...

If i were to take my old 6-lug axles and drill them to a 5 on 5 bolt pattern, would the 72 (5 on 5) drums fit in place of the old 6 hole drums?

I believe this will work, just bring a 5 hole drum to the machine shop for a pattern... it might end up being cheaper to swap in a good used pair of 5 lug axles... biggest problem is finding them.... not sure which ones will interchange, I know some years were a bit longer or shorter than others...

Which rear end do you have?

Fast68Chevy where are you?
