Where does this hitch exit? Through the license plate or under the bumper? If it's a "hidden" hitch and exits through the license plate on a sport bumper, I'll take it if shipping doesn't kill me. Thanks, .....Jerry

hitch

Bamm, I think special k is right. I didn't have a bumper and had it mounted under the frame rails. It would hang down below the bumper. Let me know if your still interested (shipping would be about $20). Special k, your next in line.

Yeah guys, if this doesn't exit through the plate, it's not what I want. If thats what it is, I'll pass it on to Special-K.

Bam,

ECE's (http://www.earlyclassic.com/home.aspx)got one. It's more expensive but it's a nice product and fairly easy to install.

Thanks Rob man. I know ece has a nice one, but with the price what it is, you can see why I was looking hard at this one. I'll end up getting that one if I don't find one used sooner. Thanks Brian, hope all goes well with the sale.

Will this work with the factory`72 Step-Bumper?Or is it for under the sport bumper. It didn`t occur to me`til I got home today and looked at my truck. These bumpers are dropped a good bit.Even though they are 1/2 as wide as the later bumpers.Does it bolt below the frame,to the bottom flange?

hitch

Specialk, it has about the same drop as my gmc. It bolts to the bottom flange on the frame.
