Question Will 73 tailpipes fiy on a 70?

Has anyone tried to put Summit's FLO-15803 tailpipes on a 70 LWB? (sorry, I haven't figured out link pasting yet) These are the only pre-bent 2.5" I have found. I plan on welding/clamping a H-pipe and flowmasters. Would the cussin and beating outweigh the cost savings? I want to keep the stock looking exit angled behind the rear wheel.
