for the truck bucket seat folks

OK, I promised superchevy I would bend up a truck bucket seat floor tab template out of a coat hanger and send it to him so he could fabricate his own for what he is doing. So instead of mailing it to him, I decided I would scan it at a 1:1 scale...that way everyone looking for these tabs can print this out and make their own. Here is the link, and here is the pic...

When I get home tonight, I will post a couple pics of the floor tabs themselves to give you an idea of what they look like in a 3D perspective. I have a pic with the floor still welded to them, and pics of them all cleaned up and ready for install into my non bucket seat equipped truck.

The flat part goes on the flat part of the cab floor (the recessed area under the seat, between the pass & driver humps), and the angled part bolts to the lip that runs between the humps on the pass & drivers side of the floor. The inner seat mounts bolt to the upper right corner in the pic of the tab.

Make sense?

Here is a pic of my cab floor, maybe it will help.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the info...it really helps. Could you post the pics of the brackets themselves and the pick of them mounted to the floor? That would really clear things up, I think.
Thanks again for the help, Casey.

Jeff are you using stock bucket seats? I had to use spacers on my F@rd seats in my truck and drill new holes. Only one on either seat would fit in the stock placement of where my bench seat fit.

OK, here are the rest of the pics as promised. Since it is 94 degress outside right now (and it is only 10AM), I am not going to mess with removing the bucket seats from my truck right now just to get a pic of the tabs where they should be sitting...you will have to figure it out based on these pics.

Brandon, I am using factory GM buckets and console...all from a '78.
