Arrow Just getting started on a 72 3/4 ton

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking on the boards for a couple of weeks, and just bought a 72 3/4 ton to begin restoring. I'm planning to use it for a daily driver while I'm fixing it up. I bought the truck a week ago for $1300.00, with 45,000 miles on it, which hopefully was a good deal.

The engine runs great, but the guy who had it replaced the rear-end with one from an 84, and hadn't hooked up the piece that keeps it from moving side to side (Coil springs).

Any pictures of the properly attached rear-end on a truck with coil springs on the back would be appreciated.

I'll include some pictures as soon as I can...

I just sorted through all the loot yesterday!
2 driver fenders, a passenger Fender, a driver side door, a front bumper, a set of rims (one piece or not split or something ??) and some window trim.

He was also nice enough to include the old rear-end, though the axle has been cut in 1/2 with a torch...
(I assume he bent it or something)
