Information on bed liners
I am looking for a strong removeable bedliner for an 8 foot fleetside. It has a wood floor so I don't want the spray on type. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for a good brand? Thanks.

Any plastic drop in liner will wear on the bed and scuff paint/trim/wood and eventually cause rust on the metal parts it wears against.
I would recommend a bedrug (www.bedrug.com) or a bedmat to protect the wood

You can always just rhino line, LINEX, or do a roll on liner yourself on just the metal bedsides, and even the bed strips if you want to get creative... and you can add extra laquor to the bedwood for a tougher finish
I agree that if you constantly remove/reinstall, or just leave a bedliner in, you will ruin your paint and wood finish anyway. The PO of my Z71 had one in it and it ruined the paint/finish under it. I want to get it lined but can't afford it at the moment

I currently have the "CustomLiner" brand heavy duty plastic drop in liner and it is great for hauling nasty greasey old motors and transmissions and cleans up real easy so I can go down to the grain mill and get a load of oats or corn and never loose a grain. But like everybody is saying it has rubbed the paint right off the floor of my bed. When I repaint my truck I will only put it in when I haul something that might mess with my paint.
