Beutifull Rust Free 68 GMC A/C Cab For Sale
I have an exceptionally nice 68 GMC A/C Cab for sale. This cab is still all original metal, with just a couple of small areas in the floor that were cut out wnd new metal welded in. The driver's side has some pitting in the lower kick panel and the rocker lips have little areas cut out of them that were pitted. (one side less thatn a 1/2" and the other about 1/4") The PO was just going to cover it with the door sills because the rest is solid as a rock. The floor supports are solid as are the cab corners, floors, back plates, firewall, windsheild, rear window, roof and all. The PO painted it red and some sort of light beige and the sterio area was cut for a larger sterio. Come take a look!! $500.00 $600.00 with most parts to complete the A/C system. I have shipped these thing on a flatbed trailer. Usualy cost around 600.00 to ship cross country. Maybe a little more now with fuel prices up so high. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Yes it will bolt down to a 69 1 ton chassis. Low hump cabs are easely made into high hump cabs, by cutting the center hump out. All you need to do is to cut along the groove, set a high hump down on it. Drill the holes for the bolts to go through, then bolt it down. The "Garden Truck" has an original low hump cab on it that I converted to high hump. The other difference that you will find is the 68 cab has a pull handle for the e-brake insted of a foot pedel. I was gone a few days, sorry. Yes I am interested but have been screwed so far 3 times on trucks i bought back in Jan. 7 different brokers and i stopped counting the shipping companpies. Every excuse under the sun, the price would keep going up and the trucks stil sat there. @ in arizona and one in Californa. I ended up getting 2 of them my self 2 separate trip of 4400 miles apiece and even worse 18 days of my life wasted. So I am very gun shy and that's why i asked if you had a number to a good company.
I have no desire to buy a cab in WA and then end up heving to get it mysel. Thanks, Steve |

Nobody has committed to the cab yet so it is still up for sale. I will contact my broth who works for a company called SamTom trucking and see what he can do. i may be interested too. first i need to find out how much the rust repair on my cab is going to be. if it's cheaper to buy your cab and ship it to las vegas, nv than it is to repair mine, i will be interested. that is of course if joel decides to pass on it.
