Lightbulb Dualie Suburban???

I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen a 67-72 suburban converted to a dualie? I know there are adaptors for the 3/4 ton axel but what fenders would work and still alow the third door to open? Ive seen a 93 dualie suburban and it looks good. Just a thought not like a have the money to do it anyway.

As long as we're into weird modifications, what about a mid engine truck? Put the motor between the frame rails behind the cab, and put the whole setup under a bed cover. Weld up your engine bay for use as storage while leaving the front area open for cooling your radiator.
as long as you had enough room for a short drive shaft it should be possible.
I know it might not technically be a truck anymore, but it would be wild at shows, and might be an improvement for racing.

Yea I have seen one here in town. He used 73 dually fenders and used the stock rearend. For wheels he used a 12'' weld wheel with a wide Mickey Thomson tire. If I see him tonight I will ask him.
