Restoration Complete - Thank you to all

Well guys, its been a long 4 years... i've been working my a$$ off to get the truck done for a show that i'm going to today. The truck is mostly complete, with the exception of a few nik naks, and the AC compressor, condensor, lines, etc... but, that will get done with time. For now, I can drive it! and enjoy it till winter comes rolling around.

I just want to thank everyone here... everyone that replied to my threads, steered me in the right direction, emailed me, and/or talked some sense into me. If it wasn't for this site and the great guys on it, this truck would not be done right now, nor would be as good. I sincerely appreciate everything.

and now, the pics!!!

Looks awesome man, simply awesome. Hope I played a small role in helping out, and I hope I can count on you when I get deeper into the wiring of my truck!

Good luck at the show, and let us know how you do.

very nice. like the bow tie caps on the back. Where did you get those? dont see many roll pans on step sides . lowering would make it really stand out. I would lose the chains.

thanks everyone!

the show i went to was more less a cruise in... last year it was a show w/ awards, trophies, etc... not this year... D'oh....

got to looking through my records, i bought the truck on July 28, 2001, and here i was today showing it for the first time... July 24, 2005... crazy, eh.

Ah, the stacks... most people either love 'em or hate 'em... it was a huge thing for me to build the truck that way... i love 'em... w/ the flowmasters, they sound awesome; i'm working on an audio clip for the website!

what size wheels are those? they don't look overly ghetto huge and yet they (and the tires) fill the fender very nicely. some beefy rubber.

Everything from the paint, benchseat and under the hood turned out real nice. Good job.

But what, no pics showing off those LEDs being lite up?

Aisde from finishing up a few things, do you plan on changing anything on the truck now that's done?

lookin damned good. any pics of the bracket for the shifter linkage on the frame? it was originally part of "1FaastC10".
that poor truck is scattered all over the country now. the cab and SWB frame are being used to build a street stock race truck, plus all the other odds and ends that i have sold/traded all over the country. oh well, if i couldnt enjoy it any more, might as well let you guys enjoy the pieces.

rears are 295/50/15's and fronts are 235/60/15's... 15x10's in the rear, 15x8's in front.

ya, i'll work on those pics... i'd like to see how they look going down the road... but, i'm not letting anyone drive it! lol! i'm really pleased with how things turned out... i have to change the stack guard clamps to stainless steel... touchup the frame in a couple of places... nothing too crazy!

looks like the newer 99 or so chevy blue. your truck reminds me of a truck my uncle had with stacks on it. i was just a kid in the early 80's and we rode all over town in it, i think the stacks are cool. good job on the resto, that's a beautiful truck.
