Full Length Carpet ? Tank Removed.
I thought that a company was making a carpet kit that went right to the back wall. I have removed the tank. The kit that arrived here today only goes to the egde of where the tank use to bolt to. I would like it have it go right to the back wall. On top of it being short it the hook and loop. Kinda wanted the Fuzzie carpet.
Any help would be great.

Mario-
I thought the same thing you did ( I think). The piece I got went all the way to where the floor and cab wall meet but it does not go up the wall itself. You'll have to order a seperate piece that goes against the cab wall.

That looks good. How do the 2 carpets join up ? Just a over lap?
I also boxed the coroners in for 6x9 speakers just like that. Never thought about doing the back wall in the same speaker box material.

The carpet I got from Tim Christian had tons of extra, probably extended up 8 - 10" up the back wall before I cut it to fit.

Yeah, they just overlap. I cut some wood pieces and attached them to the floor and then put a piece of 1/8" plywood over top to smooth out the humps on the floor. Also, put a piece of 1/4" plywood across the back with liquid nails. Then covered the whole shebang with the trunk liner material like is used in late model vehicles.

I ordered mine and got it "slightly" longer than original, haven't installed it yet but I had mine stretched out an extra 25". The upholstery guy is also making up a rear panel to finish it off behind the rear seat.

Well I just installed the carpet kit that arrived. It looks great. It would have been nice to have it go all the way to the back wall but I dont feel like waiting another 4 weeks.
I may get a full lenght kit in the winter fuzzie style. Thanks for the help.
