Door locking
Just curious.......does everyone else have to lock their trucks with a key from the outside? I have to lock both doors with the key unless I stay inside the truck. It gets hot in there.

I have to lock my passenger door from the inside and then lock my drier's door from the outside... Hey; it's a work in progress...

Yep. I agree, it is good if you are the type to forget your keys often

It's a safty feature. GM designed them to operate that way. It's not possible to lock your keys in the truck. You have to lock pass side the use teh key on th edrivers or vis versa.

My last truck I had to close the door with the window down, then reach in and lock it, then reach in through the wing vent and roll up the window. Push the wing vent closed and hope no one saw me.

my last truck wasn't worth the cash. I actually removed the matching lock set from truck #1 and had them all on truck #2 for about 2 years, then removed them and now they are on truck #3.
