Swap started
Swapping a longhorn Dana 60(4.10) rear and a 74 D44(4.10) front (8 lug) into my Blazer. Got the process started by cutting the old perches off the D60 and welding the new ones on. I also had to move the shocks mounts inboard a few inches. I moved the perches inboard 1 1/4 each side, so afterwards, their 40 inches center to center. Still have to rebuild the brakes and change the seals....yadda-yadda-yadda, but so far so good. I'll post more pics as I go.
(By the way...the Longhorn D60 is a one ton design...thats why I had to move things around.)

Awesome! Ain't it funny how the 2wd rear springs and perches are narrower than the 4wd perches.
