question on buckets and blazer tops

ok, I was at a local guys "shop" and junk area today and there was one blazer tub that had been cut up(before he got it) and there were 2 buckets sitting there, black, with scroll pattern on them and the plastic backs, the backs were cracked and upolstry bad, dunno if the frames were straight or not, assume they are fac. I know there are pics around, but would someone make it easier on me and post a pic, dunno what year it was. dunno what he wants for them either, mgiht actually give them to me. then for the tops, what is a double wall top like? how to differentiate from a single? never really looked into this at all, there is a 2nd blazer and I'm gonna guess it was a double wall top, has some cracks, but a little bit of fiberglass work and I think it'd be good. heck, maybe get the whole blazer, dunno if its got a title, who knows how the rocker boxes are, if someone tells me how to examine them I will. ALSO he has a 70 or so GMC SWB 4X4 with 4 spd & 350 I think, the cab is fixable, front clip also prolly fixable. you know how it goes, he has a fleet bed for it, dunno what he'd be askin or anything is someone is interested..
Thanks
Bryce

The double wall tops have bolt holes underneath because the bolts go behind the side panels, through the top of the bedside and into the top. The single wall top has a metal "L" bracket made into the sides and the bolts go down and thread into the tops of the bedsides.

Kind of off topic, but does anyone know how to get the back door split in half so you can replace the metal parts inside? Mine are all rusted to H*ll and don't work. I've been trying to get it apart, but looks like a dremel is all thats going to work. Just thought I would split the door, then re-fiberglass it back together when its all replaced. Any ideas? Thanks, Jeff.

As for rocker boxes.... Look undeneath, directly behind rocker panels. There should be a flat surface about 14" wide runnung the full lengt of the rocker anels (and then some actually) the should be bolted to the front bottom of the rear wheel well and the back bottom of the front fender well ( or so I assume ! You couldn't tell by MINE !!!)
I would definetly be interested in the GMC (truck, Jimmy, parts...)
Whereabouts in Iowa....

Steve
