Good Deal found on SF Craigslist

Wow, I wish I was closer, had money, had room... Anyway, found this listing on Craigslist for a '72 with a half cab for only $2750. It looks basically stock.

1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 4x4 350 engine, 350 Automatic transmission, Custom fiberglass Half Cab with pickup bed divider. Can be easily converted back to full top, soft or hard. Has removable hard top and custom short roll bar. Looks like a short pickup! Has tire carrier on the tailgate with spare tire. New tires. New heavy duty battery. New WARN hubs. Runs good and performs well on long trips, never overheats. Engine and tranny are original. AM/FM Cassette. Has factory setup for A/C but needs some work. Burgandy with white top. Black and burgandy interior. No major dents but does have some minor rust in the typical areas(door jams and bed). Gets a lot of attention when I drive it, give it some TLC and it will be worth a lot more. Call Travis @ 707-350-0089. Serious only, thanks

From the looks it does sound like a good deal. I think I've seen that on ebay before, several months back.

damn i should pick that up. I'm sure (not that anyone would think its a good idea) i could buy it, take what i want, sell some other stuff from it, and have it more then payyed off. Damn i wouldnt mind that 1/2 top - and its just down the road from me. Wish i wasnt putting that money i'd buy it with into the susp. on mine :/ Actually i'm getting my blazer lifted in santa rosa - annnnnyyy day now heh. Seems like its def worth checking out and taking a spin in it.... i wouldnt mind drivving another blazer other then my own anyways.... i bet it feels WAy different.

eh we'll see.... orig eng and tranny huh? hmmm

rrrrrrr that helps! i know i know! But i've been putting off susp. for months, 1/2 a year even! I need the new susp. Im movving to San Luis obispo and have to drive 4-5 hours south on 101. But you're right.... i prob wont do much wheeling on the way But the fact is my susp. is SHOT. i know i should.... i'll tell the guy $2500 cash or something, we'll see. What am i going to do with two?!?! You're a good person to ask! ahhhhh damnet.... damnet damnet...haha, we'll see

I thought i saw it before too, so i'm guessing ebay. Why didnt it sell, how much was he asking on ebay? worst comes to worst, i'd imagine i could sell in there for more $ but... why didnt he? Crazy reserve? Thanks

edit: i guess i Could always just get new tires and new shocks, i only wanted 33"s after a 4" lift anyways, but they should fit with new shocks anyways shouldnt they.

Tried to find the old Ebay listing (if it was even there), but couldn't find anything.

Did he add 3 more pictures to the ad or where those already there?

There are 4 pictures in the listing. I linked to two, but only one is showing - probably my fat fingers typing something wrong. I'm too lazy to fix it.
