Economy body mounts
Heres one for us cheapskates----I mean economy minded people--a friend says he has cut up tire sidewalls to the shape of body mounts and used them in place of factory type mounts for several projects with no problems-----anyone else try this?------

depends on what your doing...
that is an ok solution if your working on a car that originally used wood body mounts or something. the problem with using that on these trucks is that you would have to stack quite a few of them together to get the right height

Agreed on the stacking--looks like about 3 pieces to get the same height as the top mount

I hear of a guy drilling holes in Hockey Pucks & using them. Not that I'd recomend it.
