also, on a 73-80 when the turn signal goes out, should the headlight go out to and vise versa

........ Are you asking if your turn signal(s) are on the same circuit as the headlights? No, it shouldn't be. If so, then you have some wiring issues....

original dash, besides tach of course. i also think the gas guage was replaced, because the needle looks less faded than the rest of the guages, but i'm not sure.

on my 78 when a blinker goes out u hit the brake it lights the signal up that is out

on mine when a signal is out the coinsiding dash light stays on constantly
