Tires Rubbing Fenders

I have a 77' sierra with 3" drop spindels, 2 inch lowering coils in the front. I had a shop cut half a coil to lower the front a few more inches and now the tires sit about 1-2 inches below the fenders, and if I hit any bump at all they hit the fenders pretty hard. I was wondering if anybody had any pics or ideas on how to solve the problem or to modify the fenders.

Had the same problem. Took out the inner fenders to fix it.

i had 2 inch springs and 3 inch spindles and i couldnt turn without cuttin the tires and hittin the inner fenders so i took the spindles off but or u can take urs out and replace them with trailer fenders and u can raise them ive seen them done and looked alot cleaner than factory inner fenders, but my dads dually has coils and spindles and his does that alot

Look into "Truckin magazine" there are fair amount of golf ball gatherers in there and some have the fenders done smooth. Gotta appreciate one who can make good on the ground.
