Woot! My dad got a new 67!
It's one that has been sitting around for sale for a few years, but it didn't seem worth what the guy was asking. At first he was asking $9000 for a 67 fleetside, little bit of surface rust, but nothing special looking, so I always just brushed it off. 67Cst and I used to go look at it when we were bored...
Well my dad got a new mail route and the same truck just happened to be on it. He got to talking to the guy and looking at the truck, and it's actually a sweet setup. Oh, and the price was now $6000 (a little better). What it has: - Built 350 (only 2000miles on rebuild) - cam, headers, edelbrock intake/carb...sounds amazing at idle! - th400 - power steering - Front disks - Front sway bar - 5-lug axles (woo hoo!) - truck ralleys - original radio still in place! - nice interior (mint dash pad, headliner, bench seat) all that and the guy ended up taking $5000 for it...so now we just have to wait until sunday to pick it up. Already some plans for it too, we are really wanting to give it a flat black paint job, lowered, maybe some red wheels...who knows, the possibilities are endless I'm a little excited, even though its not mine.

Ya, the bumper is the first thing that is going. As far as the paint goes, the picture is a little deceiving, because it actually looks worse in real life, but still not bad at all. I think he said it was painted about 10 years ago or something.
