Thinking of selling my inventory!!!

Don't have time with fixing up the new house, selling old house, selling land, having another kid and just tired of all the other stuff. Asking $5000 for it all, all the parts I got around here, cabs, doors, fenders, grills, motors, tranny, front and rear ends, all the small parts I got etc. Also a 67 C30 wrecker, 69 C30, 72 SWB 2wd frame, 70 C30 GMC, rolling 72 Jimmy 4x4, some new parts but not a whole lot. I got alot of parts if someone wants to BUY IT ALL!!! I do not want to separate would like to sell it all to one person. PM if seriously interested and I'll get pics. Thanks for your time, Randy

Randy you were high on my list of sellers and will be sad to see you temporarily leave (you know you will be back). What an excellent deal for some lucky person(s). If I lived closer I would buy it all in a heartbeat. Tim

That's kinda funny. It wasn't until my daughter was born that I decided I needed to get up and do something other than cut the grass, fix the door, remodel the bathroom, feed the dogs, pay the bills, the list goes on and on. When my daughter came along it made me realize life is to short to get caught up in a routine. Or maybe it was getting T-boned by a semi truck while in my S-10 at approx. 65 miles per hour two weeks after my daughter was born. Good thing she was not with me. I realized my head was hard enough to break a side windshield. I'm much better now!! I only twitch once in a while.

On a higher note good luck to you Teeitup. Hopefully all we loose is you selling parts and not your vast knowledge. You will be sticking around just not selling anymore right?

Randy- What everyone else has said^^^^also thanks for the parts too! Wish a guy was closer-wish a guy had the space-wish a guy could hit the lottery-ect. If you don't need the room I say hang on to the stuff-it does'nt eat (you don't have to feed it) so might as well keep it!!

To anyone that might be seriously interested, I had a chance to do this 3
years ago, before I found this board or I would have done it for sure, with
a local guy who even had a internet site, and repo accounts for stuff like
Goodmark, Triplus, Etc.......plus all the used Inventory like Randy, I have
been kicking myself ever since, this is a good Investment for the asking $,
this stuff will always go up, and it will always be supply and demand, I do
hope you sell out, if your serious, and more importantly for us here, I hope
it goes to another board member, Good luck Randy, and God Speed bud

I like the open house idea. Pick a date and have a 'board meet' in KS. Get a bunch of people there (with long lists from other board members) and let all of us go crazy!

Now that I'm in IA, I think you're about 5 hours from me.

I gotta make it out there before you retire!

Paul

Good luck Randy!! I wish I had the money, I'd buy the stuff myself. I really appreciate the parts you've sold me in the past. I was looking forward to one day showing you in person what I had done with that 1988 Chevy 4x4 you sold me. I've attached a picture. It's not quite on the street, but it's close.

Randy, I thank you for all you advice and parts on my various projects thru the years. I also have consolidated my parts down to just my 72 C30, and that my be for sale soon as well. I see the trend this hobby has moved in the past 3 years, and I applaud you for getting out while you still have your sanity.

Say It Ain't So

I hope you just take a little break Randy. I have found that doing this for THE LOVE OF IT is very time consuming as well as rewarding. I have spent alot of my vacation trying to meet some of the great people on this board. I will be in Topeka next week on the way back from the West Coast after a stop in Wichita to meet my good friend Gary (Ironhorse) in person. I hope I can AT LEAST come shake your hand. PM me some kind of way to get ahold of you, and I will stop by and say hi if you have time. I am also trying to catch Andy in OH if I can. Take care, Mike

I wish I had the property to store all that. Obviously thats a great deal for somebody. Maybe one of our board vendors will take it off your hands. I have bought alot of nice used parts from Bill Athey. Maybe he would be interested.

Sure hope you just take a break and return....I did the same, took a ten year break while the kids were growing and the farm/business was taking alot of time. Now I am back building a couple trucks and having fun meeting people!! In which ever way you go, it was very nice to have met you and pick up some good parts and info! Thanks again Randy and I hope if you do sell that you stick around on the board and keep in touch...you never know, when we get that truck finished we may have to take it on a road trip to Topeka!! Later your buddy, Gord
