Progress on engine!

I threw a rod in my engine this time last year. Finally got the funds together to put in a new one. I have a couple of really talented friends building the engine for me. Wouldn't have been able to do this without them. I have learned a ton already just by watching them.

Anyway, here are the pics. I'll keep updating this thread when new pics are added.

you spun the same rod my previous owner spun. no block damage, but a pretty hole in the oil pan which leaked all the way home and got all over everything.

Yeah it made a pretty big mess in my driveway. A nice combination of oil and antifreeze.
