1956 chevy pickup grill
Does anyone know if a 1956 chevy pickup grill will fit on 1957 fenders? If its possible, what kind of modifications would i have to do to the 1957 fenders to fit my 1956 grill? Thanks

The 56 grille should fit the 57 nose fine.
The 57 grille requires indentations in the front fenders so its not as easy to do the other way around. And |

I have fixed them before by cutting out the indentation and welding in a piece from a 55-56 fender.

They don't seem interchangeable to me
I have a 57 with the 57 grill and a 56 grill came with the project. As far as I could tell the 56 (and 55?) grill doesn't want to fit flush with the fenders. The 57 grill has a bigger lip that fits over the fender edges and the 56 wants to fit flush. The 57 (painted steel) must weight at least 25 pounds more than the 56 (polished stainless)!
