I did what Tiresmoke said. It worked with a little finagling (think I had to take my bench grinder to the male spade to shave a mm or two off the sides).

I just used plain ol spade connectors. Didn't need any modification, either.

well, i used to use the spade connections too.. heavy on the used tp. it will work fine, but if you a like me, and have muphy on your ass all the time. you run a chance of shorting the tach wire with the batt wire...=blown up module or coil..(see my request for new hei on parts boad..lol)

ill be buying the correct connecter..

mtdave2 is probably correct. I am not running a tach so have not considered this to be a problem.

Junk yard!

Find an HEI equipped car with a pontiac engine...or a caddy. The dist is up at the front of the engine, which gives you a loooong wire. Chop it off, clean it up with some carb cleaner, and hook it up.
Nice original look too.

Go to www.summitracing.com and enter SUM-G5210 in the search box. It only has an 8" lead on it though.

Ecklers has the connections you want. They have the power and tach connections. Sorry I can't provide a link right now. Punch in HEI in the search on their website and you will see them.

Got the factory style connector ends at napa, used a plug from an old harness, just added new wire.
