Will likely go to a friends and just do a small show of our own. Getting a bit tired of fighting the crowds at the big events.

We have several nice displays in our area but since the wife has to be up the next day at 4am, I doubt we'll do anything. Personal fireworks are illegal in my area and my neighborhood is usually very quiet.

We usually rip our way through about $400.00 worth of imported fireworks every year. All the neighbors come over and we cook some burgers and stuff. It's illegal without a permit in our area, but we usually have at least two of the local cops eatin burgers and yellin "that was cool!!" along with us.................JB

the closes thing i can use in this city is a flare gun but still go to jail for that probly(i'll tell you after the 4th) everything else need to be homemade......in california they dont allow firecrackers only fireworks and the crappy ones too....but what cool sh!t is allowed in Cali . i need to move to AZ or somewhere like canada where i can buy beer. kinda wish it still was the 50th's those were the days......

oh the city of Mountain view doesnt allow fireworks. but it not hard to get them from other towns. Cops arnt real assholes about it here though. if you go to a large parking lot they dont really trip. got to love it when some cops have some commen sence.

MIght go see a show. In Colorado this year everything is banned except the big shows. Fire danger is way to high here.

I'll probably be messing with my truck most of the day...
It's kinda cool the way they do it here...on the 3rd, Columbus has a rather impressive display that they do down town on the riverfront. Pretty cool with all the echos off the buildings.
On the actual 4th, we got a permit to close our street, and for setting off our own fire works. Bumer all i have is those little stupid snaps huh?
I think on the 4th I'll go to snob hill and watch there display too...nothing beats laying on the hood of your truck with a bottle of mountian dew watching the display, as everyone stays clear of the "guy who is not around here". Last year the cops found a reason to get me out of there. They don't like west side people in there snobby town.
