Difference in Beds?

Is there a difference in beds between 69 and 70?

They started putting light bulbs in the side markers at some point, maybe 71? The only difference there is that there's a hole inside the side marker opening for the ground wire (nothing a drill can't fix). Also the style of the two bolts at the top for the front panel and for the tailgate handle were changed from hex heads to huge Phillips heads.

Bulbs in the side markers started in 68. 69-70 beds are the same.

Randy is right. Bulbs were an option starting the same day the lenses started.
They became standard base equipment in 70.
However, the bed is still the same 68 - 72.
