Big Shout 4 HeavyD

A few weeks back I put up some pics about a ragged-a** defrost vent fix the PO did on my C-10. Duct-tape laughs all-around.

The next day I get a PM from HeavyD. He has aqua-green interior parts and nothing to put 'em on. I reply that I might be interested but I'm LOF (that's Low On Funds)

He lives in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, I live in Spokane, WA.

Today, I get a box a parts that HeavyD paid to land on my doorstep.

That's why I check out this board a couple times a day.

Give generously!

HOORAH! HeavyD. Gotta love this Board and the members. I have seen many generous things during my short stay.
Does anyone have the winning CA Lottery numbers for this Saturday? I need them badly. If you give me the numbers I promise to auction a 67-72 truck and you can split the funds with the Board Admin. Anyone!

Just joking. HeavyD you are a wonderful caring person (with a few less garage ornaments). What goes around comes...

I was running out of room, he needed the parts so what the heck. Hopefully this stuff will help the truck get finished. Now if only someone would drop off a nice little 69-72 swb coil frame that I see members are giving away...

I can vouch for Heavy D's helpful ways too. I needed a tilt column, and he just happened to have one that needed basically a coat of paint and the accessories. He was going to personally deliver it, but instead sent it to me on the bus for little more than the price of shipping. Thanks a lot man!

Since were praising HeavyD, I guess I will chime in. I sold him a pair of '72 door panels, and when I shipped them, the Customs office kept getting stuff screwed up, and delayed the shipment for several weeks. He was patient and courteous, where most people are usually emailing and calling to bite your head when there is a problem with shipping. Very classy guy!!

I have met Dalton in person when I sold him an auto X member and V8 engine towers. I can vouch for what everyone says about, a real stand up guy. I would never hesitate to do business with him or hang out over some beers. I hope we can all meet up in Saskatoon for cruise weekend this year
