rear end
I'm taking my truck down to the frame and was wondering if I could take the trailing arms, rear end and everything off in one piece? Also, I don't want to get hurt, so how do I take the rear springs out without them flying out?

jack the frame up to take off all the tension, take the 2 trailing arm bolts out, the shocks, the brake lines, the parking brake lines, the panhard bar, then get the coils out if you havent already. did i forget anything?
edit.. driveshaft, i think that's all. Last edited by matthufham; 08-13-2005 at 10:10 PM. |

Thanks guys. I just wanted to make sure a spring wouldn't fly out and kill me. I'll probably try and get it all taken off tomorrow.
