ok Its been a while since I used a torch and I borrowed one today. I know how to use the torch, the problem is I'm not sure what the psi setting on the tanks is suppose to be. Does anyone know?

thanks

Redneck torch rules

Set the acetylene at 5 to 10 depending on thickness you are cutting.

Set oxygen 25 to 100 depending on thickness. 1 inch steel, use 100. 3/4 steel 75 psi. 1/2 steel 50. less than 1/4 use 25

thanks scrub. I'm just cutting off bolts, so I set the propane @ 5psi and the oxygen @ 50psi and it went smooth.

thanks
