Best source for 72 doorpanels

I recently purchase a pair of grey aftermarket door panels from LMC for my 72 and man are they cheap Taiwan specials, in fact I accidently nicked one with a screw driver and the grey is only a surface layer, underneath is white brittle plastic. The fit is terrible but they are filling the hole for now so to speak.

I would like some opinions about which vendor has the best door panels for sale. Brothers? Manes? ????? I would sure like to hear from the collective wisdom out there....or maybe it's more like learn from the pain of others?

It won't matter who you get them from. There is only one manufacturer of them that I am awair of, and that is a USA manufacturer. We have a warning about the fit on our website. You will be better off trying to buy old originals. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

He is O so right! If you can't find good originals you can try sandlasting some decent ones and then having them painted with a finish that is intended for interiors. That is what I did!

Well there are at least two manufacturers. I sell a different one than those that are painted. I think they fit much better too. I stock black, here in the store, and blue & green are also available. The color is solid molded clear through.
I will be glad to show them to anyone in the area that stops by. I am not interested in shipping them because they are not GM NOS and I don't think most "perfectionists" would be satisfied with them and I just don't want the hassle or bad feelings.
When you look for oem to repaint...get black, brown or green. These colors don't deteriorate and turn chalky like the blue and white. Unfortunately most used 72 door panels are warped and I don't have a cure for that.

The black, brown or green don't do it as bad, but they definitely do it...at least they do down here in AL, where it is Ass Hot!

Nice interior and nice looking door panel. I'll have to remember that one.

Is that the rubber mat floor you have in the cab? Looks nice and you don't see many with that anymore.

Thanks for the compliment, and yes it is a rubber mat. I prefer the mat so I can just sweep it out instead of having to hunt down a vaccum. I put a rubber mat on top of the carpet in my C10 because it was giving me fits trying to keep it clean. Now it is MUCHO quiet going down the road.
