i have a questions about a 67 CST im looking at. its a SWB yellow truck with nice trim/moulding packege dont like the colour but its a solid and straight truck.

the guy told me its got a 283 in it. i have a stock 350ci in my 71. im just wondering what kinda horse power the 283 8 cyl's kicked out in 67? i know it would be better on fuel.

hey Greg,

its a 71' Cheyenne SWB Fleetside, Medium olive green is the colour. original stock 350ci engine rebuilt 35,000 miles ago. truck ralley's nice tauneu cover. tach cluster. bench seat. needs paint and passenger side rocker replaced. the driver cab corner looks like it might be needed also. its got a spot where someone put a little bondo cant see it unless your under the truck. i think it has 3.08 rear end, 3 speed auto TH350 transmission. dual exhaust.tinted glass with rear opening window. steel box floor. i also have a tilt van column i need to finish and install hopefully.

not sure what else to say.

Your 71 is a sweet lookin' ride....definitely a keeper.

67 283....2 barrel or 4? I believe the 4 bbl motors were 220hp. 2bbl are 190??

not really sure what its worth to change all that stuff over. i live right on the board near michigan and i know ppl from the US come over here and buy up all the good stuff all the time. so who knows.

i put it up for 11,000 on isell.com i think thats us and canadain but it didnt ask for currentcy so i think its US funds.
