Engine Vacuum Diagrams??? Help
Does anyone know where I could get a vacuum diagram for my 72 csb 350? Is there one in the Chilton or Haynes book? Any ideas?

I've tried to find this in the past as well with no luck. There are some sketches in the GM 1972 service manual that show some of the vacuum connections, but it's hard to tell exactly where the hoses are going. I'd scan the pictures for you, but I'm in the middle of moving and my scanner and service manual are in boxes. If you have a copy of the service manual, look in the emissions controls section.

PJ,
Thanks. I know the ones you are referencing, and yes they are somewhat nondescript. I was thinking about purchasing either the Haynes or Chilton manuals simply for the vacuum diagrams, but I wanted to see if any of the board members knew if the books contained the diagrams or not before I spent the cash. If no one gets back to me I may make the plunge. Thanks again. |

I own the 67-87 Haynes manual and as far as I know it does not have any vacuum diagrams in it for our trucks.
