Hooker Super Comp headers - do they fit?
Before I drop $300 on a set of headers (even more to have the dual exhaust put on.. oh well
 ), I wanna know if they're gonna fit without banging on the frame. I've heard good things about the Super Comp headers in the past, but I wanted to make sure..'72 2WD, 350. Anyone have any experience with these?

I have super comps on my GMC and love them. They are awsome.
Nice thick steel. Collectors exit parallel with the frame, not at a downward angle. I can reach 7 plugs with a socket. No banging to fit...any where. NOTEI have big block towers...mine sits a little higher[/i] I have never heard a bad thing about these things except for the cost. |

i have hooker super comp headers on my 68 SWB two wheel drive with small block 350 and id say there are
good points and bad points.... from a performance standpoint i think they are great but my driver side header pipe hangs down much too low which has led to it rusting prematurely so i would suggest getting them ceramic coated.... also had to remove a grease zirt in order to get that drivers side header in place.... all spark plugs are relatively easy to get to |
