I have a 72 4x4 orig sm block it had 4spd 205 now 350 203. I has a 2 in body lift i bought a whole 86 c30 flatbed 2x4 i need some info on the swaps. Can anyone help me out there. Thanks Jesse

i put a big block in one of those and had to massage the firewall near the rear corners (outside) of each valve cover but your body lift will probably help you out there. i'd leave the 4 speed in it and trash the a/t but thats just my redneck opinion, you'll probably have to relocate crossmembers and build new drivelines and of course the exhaust will be different and you'll have to come up with some kind of shifter for the trans
